Such a great new series！ While I adore the Lords of the Underworld series， this is a great start to a new series！ There is some cross over， but a new universe of great characters to fall in love with and laugh with too。 Action， sexy， and hilarious - the best trifecta！

So steamy ！！ Great story line。What a great smut book ！ I do wish there was maybe one or two less scenes of the smut but it still a great read 。 A great enemies to lovers romance 。 This isn’t isn’t that cheap quality ， cheesy smut either 。 I loved the characters and fast moving storyline 。

So so good！ Gena has written another 5 star read。 Taliyah and Roc are so made for each other。 Roc is the hottest Warlord who of course melts for his woman and I want my own。 Taliyah is the most badass harpy general to be and I wish I had that harpy confidence！ I’m so excited for the next books in this series。

This is the first book I’ve ever read from Gena Showalter and it won’t be my last。 I fucking LOVED every page。 Great if you enjoy enemies-to-lovers， hate-to-love， forced marriage tropes and strong， witty， passionate characters who have fiery chemistry。 Can’t wait for the next book in this new series。 （Even though this is a spinoff of her lords of the underworld series， you don’t need to have read them in order to understand this book。） Plus， don’t even get me started with those sex scenes。。。。 ;）
